Sungrown for the Win

Craig and I had a super fun Saturday attending the California State Fair in Sacramento where we received our three Gold and three Bronze medals at the California Cannabis Awards ceremony. It’s incredible and invigorating to see the cannabis community alight with love and innovation, and to witness the merging of the past and the future. What a time to be alive! To move from secrecy and hushed conversations to community events where the people who not only created this industry but also sustain this industry are celebrated!

LOVE and RESPECT to ALL the FARMERS and MEDICINE MAKERS in the world and LOVE and RESPECT to ALL the BEINGS who ensure we are paid a LIVING WAGE and that our beloved community has access to pure clean medicine. There is a synergy and mycelium web that is being created and nurtured and we are awestruck by the intention and attention that is being given to this beautiful plant and the community who loves her. It was an inspiring weekend, and Craig and I are humble and grateful for all the accolades we received.

Sunday we visited Solful to celebrate both our Madd Fruit resin release and SF Hash week with the brilliant hash maker Harry Rose, Eli and Noah Melrod (owners of Solful) and SF Hash Week founder David Downs (award winning journalist and bestselling author). The vibe was all community in the Sunset district with its annual flea market block party, relaxed patrons eager to engage and share, and our beloved Solful team who excels at community outreach, education, and fun. Craig and I had a blast wearing our six medals (when could we ever wear them again, except at the after party?!) and sharing our silliness and smiles from a three decade milestone.

Thank you to Eli and Noah for graciously giving us the opportunity and space to share our joy with the cannabis community at their San Francisco Solful store that Sunday (https://solful.com/visit-us/san-francisco/) and to Harry Rose who worked his magic, per usual, and created the most delicious resin from our Madd Fruit cultivar. How could we finish off such a spectacular weekend?
